Q&A
What are you listening to these days?
My flavour changes each week. Right now Jessie J, Adele and Serena Ryder are rocking my world, though last week I was on a hard core Britney kick. Musicals are ALWAYS in my play lists.
Why did you start dancing?
Cliché story: my parents took me to see Nutcracker when I was 2 and I wanted to be a ballerina. I’ve done a lot of other stuff too, but dance has always been the constant.
Why do you continue to dance?
I honestly can’t see myself doing anything else! It’s really all I’ve known and can’t imagine my life without it. Although time and age won’t let me dance forever (don’t get me wrong I’m gonna try!), I’m always going to be doing something related to dance and theatre.
What was one great moment in your life?
Only one??? Geez….uh….Watching my little sister play on Team Canada in their U22 in Germany a couple of years ago was pretty awesome, the day my whole family got matching tattoos…. I don’t know. I’ve had some pretty great moments in my life, but I feel like the best (plural) has yet to come.
What are some of your future aspirations?
Eliminate my student debt! Haha!!! That’s as far ahead as I can plan right now! Maybe see if I can get some traveling in there. The rest I’m just rolling with the punches.
